Ariadne's Labyrinth — Twisted Up & Turned Around

Design for a double CD album of remixes of tracks from the Twists & Turns album.

In the spirit of remixing, I decided to deconstruct the Ariadne’s Labyrinth logo to create the cover typography. This tied in with the original album that used a treated version of the logo as the main focus (shown further down the page). The same fonts and colours were used to link the releases. I also flipped the design around so that the CD case reads vertically… another nod to the twisted and turned theme.

 

I based the cover typography on the Ariadne's Labyrinth logo (designed by Ameet Hindocha/Ambigraph)

The same fonts were used to link back to the original album's design
Cropped sections of the cover type – Twisted on CD1 and Turned on CD2
A limited run of hand screen printed t-shirts were designed and sold to raise further funds for the charity
